early 1920's original interior i.o.o.f. building office door ornamental nickel-plated cast brass passage size doorknob designed and fabricated by the yale & towne mfg. co., stamford, ct. the antique american doorknob features a deeply embossed "three interlocking rings" insignia, representing the "three link fraternity" (i.e., friendship, love and truth). the doorknob contains a raised beaded rim and intricate leafage. the doorknob was salvaged from an oddfellows lodge located in pottstown, pa. two matching doorknobs available. 2-1/2" diameter x 2-1/2" depth.
