single all original late 1870's or early 1880's antique american victorian era ornamental cast bronze "basketweave" pattern doorknob designed and fabricated by the hopkins & dickinson mfg. co., new york city, ny. the recessed rim doorknob was salvaged from a milwaukee mansion torn down in the 1960's. the nicely aged surface patina is uniform throughout. the ornamental doorknob is one of several matching handles and backplates currently being added to the website catalog.
