c. 1850's seldom found original antique american intact privy dug t. & r. morton soda or mineral water bottle with a deep kick up. the long and narrow neck, along with the low-shouldered body shows several seeds whittling and other imperfections or crudities consistent with age. the rich teal colored glass bottle contains an applied bloptop atop the slightly tapered neck. the deeply pontiled base contains large traces of mineralization and a strong iron oxide presence left from the iron pontil rod. the body of the bottle contains the bottler's name, location and the year 1851. great overall condition for a privy dug bottle.
