heavy duty c. 1920's freestanding american antique industrial heavily reinforced solid steel "lock box" cabinet designed and fabricated by the the general fireproofing co., youngstown, oh. the oversized single hinged door cabinet contains a brushed metal finish sealed with a clear coat lacquer used to prevent surface corrosion. the spacious interior contains multiple pressed and folded steel shelves. the factory office upright cabinet retains the original operable cast brass t-handle. the stationary cabinet was salvaged from a chicago area steam gauge and valve factory building undergoing demolition. two cabinets available. the other existing cabinet retains the original olive green enameled finish. measures 25" x 21-1/2" x 52-1/2".
