hard to find c. 1920's american industrial multi-purpose cold-rolled steel graduated tier product display rack or shelving unit designed and patented by erhard allen for the dayton display fixture company, dayton, oh. the thee graduating tiers are supported by two square-shaped tubular steel uprights containing multiple holes for interlocking at desired height. the low-lying four-legged base retains the original and fully functional reinforced steel casters. each tier is comprised of heavy gauge furniture steel, capable of holding a great amount of weight. the shop product display fixture has been thoroughly cleaned and brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. excellent overall condition, considering age. measures approximately 48 x 20 x 39 inches.
