intact and completely refinished original american industrial laboratory workbench retort stand designed and fabricated by the fisher scientific co., pittsburgh, pa. the upright stand features a weighted cast iron three-legged or tripod base with centrally located threaded opening for mounting the post. the single solid steel rod is equipped with a matching set of two-section holders or clamps consisting of adjustable brackets that screw into spring-loaded metal clamps designed to hold beakers and test tubes. the bracket and clamps are comprised of iron, steel and yellow brass components. the entire scientific apparatus has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. great for display purposes. the antique bottles are not included.
