remarkable american art deco style salvaged chicago three-sided machine age polychromatic glazed terra cotta pilaster endcap or panel. the very clean and well-maintained historically important chicago "el" panel was salvaged from a state street subway station. the exact fabricator is not known. the freestanding panel features a wavy border with sun-ray motif. any and all mortar from the rear cavity has been removed. traces of color-coded caulking evident along the edges. only one available. 19 3/4 x 7 3/4 x 21"
