completely refinished antique american industrial heavy gauge pressed and folded steel bi-conical nautical mooring buoy. the exact fabricator is not known. likely dates between 1935-45. the cold rolled steel cones are held together with riveted joints and brazed seams. the two fully enclosed eyelets are original and intact. the original paint finish was nearly worn off, with heavy surface oxidation evident. the lightweight river buoy is structurally sound. measures 28 x 16 inches.
