all original and nicely weathered c. 1900's american riveted joint wrought iron stationary park bench originally belonging to the chicago park district department. the structurally sound and stable iron park bench was fabricated by the barbee iron & wire works, chicago, il. - lafayette, ind. the original yellow brass manufacturer plaque is prominently displayed along the contoured backrest. the scrolled iron strap armrests remain in great shape, considering age. the angled cross-bracing found along the underside of the seat provides added support. the riveted joint iron strap slats are tightly fastened in place. highly desirable compact size. measures approximately 48 x 27 x 31 inches.
