custom-built c. 1930's american antique industrial clean and compact pressed and folded galvanized tin metal portable storage cabinet or toolbox salvaged from a chicago tool & die factory machine shop. the lightweight "small parts" storage tote retains the original drop handle comprised of turned wood with an old red paint finish (likely original). the custom toolbox has been brushed and sanded down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the lockable yellow brass hasp is tightly affixed to the box. the edges contain closely spaced rivets for added support and stability. measures 17 1/4 x 6 1/2 x 10 1/4 inches.
