one of two matching refinished early 1920's american antique industrial three-legged stationary stamping press machine stands likely fabricated by the the toledo tool & machine company, toledo, oh the robust metal stand features an unusual cast iron and tubular steel base with a riveted joint incised number brass plaque. the tripod base contains floor plates with pre-drilled holes for anchoring into the floor. the top of the stand features a welded joint platform with adjoining l-shaped plate affixed to the side. the grand rapids machine shop furniture piece has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. measures 34 inches high x 17 1/2 inches at the widest point.
