c. 1930's american vintage industrial diamond mesh metal strainer basket fabricated by the union steel products co., albion, mi. the cylindrical-shaped wire basket was salvaged from an old american plating factory long ago. retains the original solid bent steel rod drop handle mounted against a cold-rolled sheet steel hoop. nicely weathered finish in the form of allover surface rust. measures 12 x 15 3/4 inches.
