all original c. 1900-20 american interior residential chicago craftsman style oversized wall sconce, consisting of a darkly stained oak wood bracket and wonderfully designed leaded art glass lantern shade. the exceptional single electric light fixture is attributed to the r. williamson lamp co., chicago. the "mission oak" finish remains in very good condition. the four-sided pyramidal lantern is composed largely of caramel slag glass with zinc caming. the edison key paddle socket is original. the fixture has been rewired. measures 24 x 22 x 6 1/4 inches. salvaged from a chicago craftsman residence undergoing interior renovation.
