completely intact c. 1930's american interior woolworth store pendant fixture likely fabricated by or for harry alter & co., chicago, il. the single electric light fixture contains a bulbous white opalescent "schoolhouse" style glass bowl shade that emits a soft glow when illuminated. the fitter, chain and shade fitter and/or socket housing contain a uniform gold enameled finish. the single porcelain socket is original and intact. measures 14 x 31 inches.
