repurposed american industrial oversized late 19th century edge molding machine base side table or console featuring a newly added and refinished old growth white oak wood slab with live edges. the fanciful heavy duty cast iron machine legs were fabricated by the w.a. jones foundry & mach co., chicago, il. the machine and bases were salvaged from the old morgan sash and door factory located in chicago. the bases with outswept feet have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. each base contains a centrally located ring with integrated stretchers along all sides. the machine bases are structurally sound and stable. the large solid oak wood slab has been planed, sanded and sealed. 61 1/2x23x36; Legs flare out to 31" width
