matching set of all original oversized american depression era antique industrial brightly colored yellow enameled chicago bridge cautionary or warning lights designed and fabricated in part by the crouse-hinds, co., syracuse, ny. the two "explosion proof" fixtures are comprised of steel socket housings with matching heavy duty cages designed to protect the glass "jars" or bulb guards. each weather-resistant fixture contains a standard socket for use with an incandescent light bulb. the unusual ruby red "pyrex" glass bulb guards were fabricated by the corning glass works, new york city, ny. the warning lights are free from cracks or breaks. the sockets are in working condition. the housings contain threaded openings for 1/2 inch steel pipe. priced for the pair. measures 4 inches in diameter and stands 9 inches tall
