original and largely intact c. 1940's hand-painted white and blue enameled heavy gauge die cut steel single-sided interior factory sign salvaged from a massive general electric factory complex located on the south side of chicago. the wall-mount notification sign enforced the use of ear protection within areas of the factory containing loud machinery. limited number available. the sign measures 15 x 10 inches. likely fabricated in-house.
