impressive c. 1940's american vintage oversized single-sided exterior ice cream cone sign salvaged from an old chicago soda shop demolished long ago. the die cut steel sign was originally double-sided and illuminated with neon tubing. the "can" portion containing the transformers was scrapped during demolition. the exact fabricator is not known. nicely worn paint finish with surface rust evident. the exact sign fabricator is not known. measures 87 x 36 inches.
