very unique and unusual american depression era primitive industrial freestanding multi-drawer cabinet found in an old chicago tool & die machine shop. the cabinet consists of a custom-built pressed and folded galvanized steel frame containing two columns of matching sliding wood drawers salvaged from old fruit crates. the original turned and tapered knob or drawer pulls are original and intact. the metal and wood components have been brushed and/or sanded down and treated with a clear coat finish. measures 16 x 14 x 32 inches.
