original late 1930's american vintage industrial "never step on conveyor" warning or cautionary sign featuring deeply embossed lettering. likely manufactured by the ready-made sign co., new york. the unique sign is comprised of stamped steel, with original baked enameled finish largely intact. contains three holes for mounting purposes. the single-sided sign measures 13 x 3 1/2 inches.
