vintage american industrial three-legged adjustable height stand salvaged from a chicago tool & die factory. the unusual telescoping stand is comprised of heavy gauge steel thoroughly refinished. the stand contains a three-legged pressed and folded steel base contains outwardly projecting legs with unusual bulbous feet. two of the stationary feet are crimped, while the third contains a lightly incised manufacturer marking in the form of a crown. fabricator unknown. friction joint with molded plastic black dial intact.
