original late 1940's vascular system anatomical chart containing illustrations by medical illustrator peter bachin. the highly detailed chart shows the heart (right anterior, left anterior, and posterior views), heart in systole, female pelvis, base of the brain, and branches of abdominal aorta and portal vein. the chart was found in an old milwaukee funeral home or mortuary (basement morgue room). manufactured by the anatomical chart co., chicago, il. measures 25 x 20 inches.
