Description
mostly intact vintage medical dissectible human eyeball anatomical model once used as an instructional tool and/or visual aid in a chicago public school science classroom. the c. 1950's model shows the optic nerve in its natural position in the bony orbit of the eye (floor and medial wall). the eyeball is dissectible into both halves of sclera with cornea and eye muscle attachments, both halves of the choroid with iris and retina, lens and vitreous humour. the mounting board is comprised of green molded plastic. the model itself, was fabricated in germany. distributed by the denoyer-geppert co., chicago, il. hand- painted numbers remain intact.
