Description

hard to find early 20th century american vintage medical four-legged tubular steel adjustable height hospital operating room stationary stool. manufactured by the frank s. betz. co., hammond, ind. comprised largely of welded joint angled steel with uniform brushed finish. the four-legged base features fanciful cabriole style legs with solid steel rod cross-bracing for added support. the original hardened black rubber feet are amazingly intact. the cold-rolled steel backrest is supported by three closely arranged vertical steel rods.
