completely intact c. 1920's vintage medical american anesthetist's hospital operating room stool. manufactured by the frank s. betz mfg. co., chicago, il. comprised largely of bent tubular steel reinforced with welded joints. the revolving stool originally contained a "whitekraft" enameled finish with nickel-plated seat. retains the original swivel casters. the centrally located threaded screw moves up and down with ease. the "montel" metal seat with slightly sunken center remains in great condition. brushed metal finish sealed with clear coat lacquer.
