c. 1940's original and well-preserved american antique industrial refillable chicago post office wall-mount lavatory soap dispenser designed and fabricated by the u-san-o corporation, st. louis, mo. the single fully functional dispenser contains a fanciful screw-on multifaceted orb or globe with unusual iridized finish. the bracket supporting the dispenser contains a backplate with opposed screw holes for mounting flush against the wall. the screw base and plunger are in great overall condition. the metal support is comprised of steel with original polished chrome finish. the original manufacturer's riveted joint plaque with red enameled finish is mounted below the glass orb. only one available. base measures 2 1/4 x 3 inches, piece comes out from wall approximately 5 inches with a 6 inch height.
