sleek and simple c. 1930's american art deco machine age single electric table lamp designed after gilbert rohde. the exact lamp fabricator is not known. the streamlined style lamp features a bent brass metal tubular arm affixed to a long cylindrical shade housing a single socket. the weighted base plate is comprised of heavy gauge steel adorned with three clustered brass tubes. the centermost tube is open-ended to provide an outlet for the lamp cord and plug. the streamlined table or desk lamp has been refinished and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. measures approximately 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches.
