original mid-19th century american antique emerald green privy dug soda or mineral water glass bottle possibly fabricated by eagle or phoenix glass works. the distinctive "philly green" bottle was made for and bottled by b. condarman & company, philadelphia, pa. the iron pontiled bottle has a long and narrow neck with large oval-shaped applied blob top. the deeply recessed or sunken base contains very light traces (in the form of a ring) of iron deposits left from the glassblower's pontil rod. surface wear, seeds and whittle marks consist with age.
