original antique american eastlake style interior residential "broken leaf" pattern passage door mortise lock fabricated by the lockwood manufacturing co., south norwalk, conn. the mortise box lock contains an ornamental cast iron face plate with original dead and latch bolts intact. the latch bolt will likely need a new spring. the case is comprised of iron with black enameled finish. measures approximately 7/8 x 5 1/2 x 3 1/4 inches.
