early 20th century interior american bank building office incandescent pendant or ceiling drop light with original emeralite green cased glass conical shade fabricated by h.g. mcfaddin & co., new york. the early electric single light fixture features a tapered and turned spun yellow brass ceiling canopy, chain and fully functional paddle or key socket with ventilated uno fitter. the lighting hardware was likely fabricated for or by the r. williamson co., chicago, il. the original rayon cloth lamp cord remains in good condition, considering age. the shade fitter retains the original set screws and fits snug around the lip of the shade. measures 30 x 10 inches.
