very unique c. 1920's structurally sound compartmentalized oak wood locomotive mechanic or engineer "small parts" cabinet salvaged from an old train yard roundhouse on the far west side of chicago. the custom-built multi-drawer benchtop cabinet contains a total of 32 matching pull-out drawers with faded white stenciled numbers. the drawer pulls are comprised of cast iron with rectangular-shaped openings for labels. nicely weathered and worn original green paint finish. measures 50 x 15 1/2 x 19 inches.
