early to late 1920's american industrial commercial grade oversized dark amber or brown blow molded machine one gallon jug formerly used in a cook county hospital research laboratory. the jug contains very few markings, with the exception of "one gallon" in the form of embossed lettering below the integrated screw top opening and circular handle. the oversized laboratory bottle is free from cracks or breaks. the steel or tin screw cap was lost long ago. only one available. likely fabricated by the whitall tatum company, philadelphia, pa. measures 6 1/8 x 12 inches.
