original and intact c. 1926 antique american flush mount interior new york city lobby elevator indicator panel fabricated in part by the viking sunburst signal company. the plaque is comprised of solid cast bronze with a mostly uniform surface patina. the two protruding oversized thick glass lenses contains a distinctive art deco profile with a setback or "stepped" profile. the ruby red and emerald green glass lenses contain light etched indicator arrows designed to be illuminated when "calling" the elevator cab or car. the richly colored lenses are in great shape with no cracks or breaks evident. the indicator panel was originally illuminated from the backside. great overall condition. measures 2 1/2 inches in depth and 12 x 6 1/4.
