late 1920's lightweight portable two tier bent tubular steel hospital operating room side table consisting of two tiers once containing plate glass shelves. the stationary side table has been repurposed with the addition of a refinished rock hard heart pine wood tabletop fastened tightly to the base. the long and narrow medical furniture piece was fabricated by the a.s. aloe company, st. louis, mo. the brushed steel finish was treated with a clear coat lacquer. measures 40 x 11 x 32 1/2 inches.
