original and intact c. 1930's vintage american industrial outdoor filling station oil can display rack salvaged from a far south side service station shuttered long ago. the stand contains five graduating shelves comprised of steel mesh with raised edges to prevent "spillage." the shelves are affixed to flanking bent tubular steel supports with steel band cross-bracing located between tiers. the exact fabricator is not known. contains an allover brushed metal finish sealed with a cleat coat lacquer. measures 22 x 16 1/2 x 50 inches.
