original c. 1940's american vintage medical michael reese hospital lightweight cold-rolled steel two-tier operating room supply cart or workstation fabricated by the american metal furniture inc., indianapolis, ind. the mobile cart contains a four-legged tubular steel base supporting two equally-sized tiers or shelves. the top tier contains a three-sided rail guard tightly affixed along the sides. the original hardened black rubber "bassick" swivel casters are completely intact and fully functional. the rolling hospital cart contains a brushed metal finish sealed with a clear coat lacquer. measures 20 x 16 x 32 inches.
