largely intact c. 1960's vintage american industrial "my double" adjustable freestanding dress form manufactured by my double co., inc., stamford, ct. the form is comprised of metal mesh with detachable rods joined at various intersecting points. the form was designed to facilitate molding to the body of the wearer. originally designed and patented by frank s. sanders in 1965. retains the original adjustable height stand with extension pole. the weighted base is comprised of overlapping heavy gauge steel straps folded inward at each end. two similar forms available.
