unusually tall early 1920's antique american medical stationary four-legged operating room stool salvaged from the old cook county hospital, chicago, il. the reinforced bent tubular heavy gauge steel stool contains long curvaceous legs reinforced with a circular-shaped central ring with brackets. the revolving pressed and formed seat contains a solid steel threaded rod attached to the base. the metallic silver enameled stool was fabricated by william v. willis & co., philadelphia, pa. seat height adjusts from 26 to 30 inches.
