original late 1930's american industrial fully articulating arm factory machine shop task lamp with original "slim helmet" hubbell shade or reflector. the single electric incandescent lamp is supported by a cast iron c-lamp with large threaded screw. the joints are tightened with wing nuts. the yellow shell key socket has been rewired with period appropriate cloth cord. the supporting steel arms or brackets have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. salvaged from a chicago area factory. measures approximately 27 inches when fully extended.
