fully functional multi-purpose vintage american made freestanding three-tier book shelf unit salvaged from an old chicago public library. the all-metal riveted joint furniture piece was designed and fabricated by the gaylord brothers co., syracuse, ny. the three open-ended and angled tiers are tightly affixed to the bent tubular steel uprights. the brushed metal finish has been treated with a clear coat lacquer. the swivel casters are comprised of hardened black rubber. measures 28 x 13 x 36 inches.
