original vintage american industrial four-tier freestanding product display fixture salvaged from a recently shuttered southern illinois general hardware store. the shelving display rack or shelving unit is comprised largely of pressed and folded sheet steel. each stationary tier or shelf is supported by rigid tubular steel uprights. the topmost shelf contains a four-sided bent steel rod rail-guard designed to prevent spillage. possibly fabricated by the art metal construction company. thoroughly refinished and treated with a clear coat lacquer.
