original multi-purpose c. 1950's american industrial cold-rolled steel factory machine shop storage cabinet fabricated by the lyon metallic mfg. co., aurora, il. the mobile shop cabinet contains a mostly black paint finish with two sliding drawers finish in cherry red. the drawers retain the original reinforced pressed steel handles. the top and undershelf contain a four-sided rail guard to prevent content spillage. the original swivel casters are intact and fully functional. surface wear consistent with age. measures approximately 18 x 24 x 34 3/4 inches.
