original and intact antique american medical clear glass charles hulbert & company (successors to h.h. mcpherson) medicinal bottle discovered in a chicago residential backyard privy pit. the diminutive bottle contains a cylindrical-shaped neck with flared lip. the "tombstone" shaped body contains a strong "strike," in the form of deeply embossed lettering. the raised letters are free from nicks, scuff marks, etc. some residual discoloration and/or residual stains remain inside the uncleaned (i.e., untumbled) bottle. the cork and contents were lost and/or removed long ago.
