early 20th century refinished cast iron cold-metal sawing machine legs or bases with newly added solid old growth pine wood slab tabletop

matching set of original early 20th century antique american industrial curvaceous cast iron machine legs designed and fabricated by the q.m.s. foundry co., chicago, il. any and all of their products were sold by the vulcan sales engineering company. the machine bases have been repurposed into a nice-sized stationary console table with newly added old growth pine wood slab tabletop. the legs and table have been thoroughly cleaned and refinished. the legs contains markings identifying qms as the manufacturer are prominently displayed on the outer edges. the legs also contain stamped and/or cast plaques or "badgees" for vulcan and the e.a. kinsey company, cincinnati, oh. the repurposed side table or console is structurally sound and stable. measures approximately 46 1/2 x 11 1/2 x 27 inches.
