very rare and seldom found c. 1915 antique american industrial original die cut cobalt blue porcelain enameled die cut steel factory safety sign manufactured by the mine safety appliances company, pittsburgh, pa. the richly colored blue porcelain enamel remains largely intact. the single-sided wall mount sign retains the original grommets for mounting purposes. the early factory safety sign measures 10 x 7 inches.
