very unique c. 1930's american industrial single-sided automotive repair shop "parts" sign comprised of tin reinforced with strips of pine wood trim. the hand-painted sign features an oversized vertical directional arrow pointing downward with the phrase "ring the bell...wait" painted in white lettering against a black background. exceptionally well preserved vintage sign with naturally aged surface patina consistent with age. sign fabricator unknown. measures 36 x 27 inches.
