all original and intact late 19th century american eastlake style interior vestibule "ivy" pattern mortise lock fabricated by branford lock works, branford, ct. the latch and dead bolts are original and in working condition. the lock box is comprised of cast iron with baked black or "japanned" finish. manufacturer markings lightly incised along the dead bolt. ornamental brass face plate has a uniform appearance. measures approximately 6 3/4 x 1 x 3 1/2 inches.
