original early 1920's american antique exterior flush mount mission or craftsman style cast brass hinged door mail slot designed and fabricated by the penn-greg mfg. co., minneapolis, mn. the mail slot features four closely spaced and lightly incised straight lines arranged vertically along the length of the door. the surface has been lightly cleaned with some wear and oxidation evident. the mail slot contains two opposed screw holes for mounting purposes. measures approximately 8 1/2 x 1 1/4 x 4 inches.
