assortment of original reverse-painted diminutive glass interchangeable number and letter signs possibly fabricated by or for the chicago theater supply company, chicago, ills. the hand-painted black and gold glass panels were used in conjunction with an illuminated signboard located in the theater's lobby. the paint shows signs of wear and tear from extensive use. the box of salvaged chicago letters date to the 1920's. priced for the lot.
