sizable group of all original and intact american industrial basement fire sprinkler system pressure or air gauges designed and fabricated by the star sprinkler corporation, philadelphia, pa. the lot of gauges contains brass bezels and clear intact glass fronts or faces designed to protect the interior instrumentation. the pressure or air gauges (with retard), were salvaged from the basement of the chicago lighting company factory, chicago, ill. the massive sprinkler system was controlled from the basement, which used a wet system (the most common fire sprinkler pipe system). priced for all the gauges shown. measures 4 x 1 1/4 x 5 inches.
